Panama City beach is changing at a very fast pace. If you haven't been here in a couple of years you're going to be amazed at all the new construction going on. Many of the small motels on front beach road are no longer there, new 20 story condo resorts have taken their place. Most of the hotels and motels have built new esablishments off of middle beach road and back beach road.
Shell Island is a must see while you are visiting the Panama City Beach area. Located just south of the jetties, this treasured barrier island protects the unspoiled waters of St Andrew Bay. Shell Island’s great stretches of white sand and windswept dunes are just as they appeared to our visitors centuries ago.
